I am long enough in the tooth to remember when there were numerous conferences about this new fangled thing called the internet. Some people there carried huge big heavy blocks called mobile phones, and everyone looked on in amazement at a page downloading at the speed of sludge on the dodgy projection screen.

According to my spell check unfollow is not a word. Well maybe it didn't use to be, but it is now, because Twitter has it on all the applications. It's there on Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, Twitter on the iPhone, and all the other ways of using Twitter and there are plenty.

Education and the economy...how closely should they be connected? If we think about education from a singularly economic point of view, we will start to narrow the funnel and end up with people who are trained but not educated, but alternatively, if we think that an education only comes from schools and colleges we will still be in a pickle.
